Councillor Randal Sabit
Councillor Randal Sabit is newly elected and is serving his first term for the Fishing Lake First Nation. He is also the youngest Councilor at 19 years of age. Councilor Sabit is motivated by his passion to be heard, to have a voice in the young community, and to pave the way for the youth to move ahead and not to give up and to believe in their dreams. Councilor Sabit’s portfolios include Sports, Cultural and Recreation. His main focus is on the youth of Fishing Lake First Nation. He leads by example and promotes volunteer work and the importance of volunteering. Councilor Sabit wants to focus on self-esteem workshops aimed at helping youth to pursue their dreams at all costs. Councilor Sabit is determined to bring culture back into the community of Fishing Lake First Nation.
