Definitions


1.  Funding- the provision of Trust Property monies from the Member Development Program in accordance to the Fishing Lake 1907 Surrender Trust Agreement.

2.  Home- is the primary residence of the Member where the Member lives the majority of the time.

3.  Immediate Family Member- includes: spouse, biological or adoptive parent, grandparent, and child or sibling.

4.  In Camera- a meeting that is not open to the public or Members.

5.  Member- a registered member of the Fishing Lake First Nation pursuant to the Band Membership Code.

6.  Renovations- structural improvements like roofing, windows and doors, mechanical or electrical improvements such as heating and hot water systems, electrical wiring, insulating and bathroom renovations. Renovations do not include luxury items such as hot tubs.

7.  Trust Agreement- means the Fishing Lake 1907 Surrender Trust Agreement as agreed to and ratified by the members of Fishing Lake First Nation on March 12, 2001.

8.  Youth- are registered members of the Fishing Lake First Nation who are between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of application.

9.  Special Needs- means individuals that have special requirements above and beyond normal needs in the Education System (I.E. Computer for additional classes off the Internet).
